  An Open Book Blog

Carol Thomas began her writing career by teaching English Composition at two Kentucky universities. A 25-year detour into academic librarianship followed, during which time she also reviewed mystery novels for the Lexington (Ky) Herald-Leader and professional literature for the Reference and User Services Quarterly, managed a website, and edited and published a newsletter. She holds master's degrees in English, library science and public administration.

Now retired, she works as a contributing writer for Suite 101 and for Demand Studios. She also writes as the Mystery Series Examiner and as the Nora Roberts Examiner for the national edition of Examiner.com.

She can be contacted at her e-mail address.
